In 1993, he formed his first alternative metal band, Chapter XI. However, it wasn’t long before he transitioned to bass and founded the alternative metal group, Deep. During his time with Deep, Corey crossed paths with Brett, leading to a collaboration between Deep and Brett’s punk band, Half Fast. The energy of punk music fueled his passion, and he dedicated himself to Half Fast until the band eventually disbanded. Corey’s bass skills caught the attention of the punk scene, and he joined the band This Is My Curse. With them, he had the incredible opportunity to open for notable acts like Alien Ant Farm, Loudness, and Avenged Sevenfold. His thunderous basslines resonated with audiences, leaving a lasting impression. Today, Corey holds down the low end for Broke in Vegas, a band that blends punk sensibilities with yacht rock vibes.
